Our Story

  • 1989Our beginning

    In 1989 he started a project that would revolutionize the tourism industry. Latin Travel Collection Holding starts as a small travel agency in Quito, Ecuador. 6 years later the company would finish its first hospitality project: Fuente de Piedra I, where the Ikala Quito Hotel is now located.

  • 2008Building a dream

    With big dreams in mind, Latin Travel Collection buys the house next to the Fuente de Piedra I hotel and begins the renovations in the historic house, always keeping the structures and the decoration of the residential neighborhood intact. To this day we have the pleasure of keeping the three original aristocratic houses intact.

  • 2010An innovative project

    In 2010 we have the pleasure of opening our doors to the first guests of the Anahi Boutique Hotel that revolutionized the hospitality industry in Quito being the first boutique hotel in the city with 16 fully themed rooms that portrayed the history, culture and regions of the country. Together with Fuente de Piedra I they become reference hotels for tourism.

  • 2018Creating unforgettable experiences

    The Anahi Boutique Hotel, Fuente de Piedra I and a third historic house in the neighborhood are joined and renovated to officially become the Ikala Quito Hotel. The hotel reopens in September 2018 and becomes the perfect refuge for business and leisure travelers who come to the city of Quito.

Our Ikala Restaurant is the ideal place to enjoy buffet breakfast, family dinners, and private or corporate events in a cozy atmosphere with a privileged location in the center of the city of Quito. With capacity for 70 people, we offer privacy, comfort and style. We use fresh ingredients and work with local producers to bring the best products of the countryside to your table.

Our Cava Bar was historically a wine cellar hidden under a historic house in the La Mariscal neighborhood. Equipped with private bathrooms, audio system, air conditioning, and projector, it is the ideal place for private or corporate events with comfort, privacy, and style without leaving the commercial center of the city. Our personalized service and use of fresh, locally produced ingredients will make your event an unforgettable experience.
